How did you even get such a wonderful shot? I've never owned a "professional" camera, so maybe that has something to do with it, but still, marvelous work.

i do not have profi - its semiprofi and not expensive Nikon D90 with set lens 18-105. Just good timing, thats really important, then stative from window;) and good whitebalance and exposition (manual). DSLR has much less noise than compacts etc. that is impportant for such shots (night).
And do not think, that even expensive DSLR camera do your work itself - automatic. Just pushing button. No, it doesnt work that way (un)forntunately:)

Yeah and a unique view. Do you even realize how lucky you are just to get to see that in the morning? I'm happy I live in the city and all, but that beats anything I've ever woken up to.

Also, how did you get to take pictures of all those beautiful places all over Europe? I mean, I figure it's by traveling, but how long a trips do you go on? My point being that you end up taking incredible pictures of incredible sceneries all over Europe, which sounds amazing to me.

well - lucky - its only matter of time. Every year are few days when i see unique or not ordinary conditions from my window.
And i live at the edge of 40.000 city in 11 floor high house (iam in 6.etage). But iam happy, because i see to the south only landscape (nature).

Iam mainly traveller - i have camera for record my memories from travelling - thats all. Mostly using just sleepbag (wild sleeping, no tent, no pension - just under skye:)
And yeah, i also do often commercial photos (calendars, postcards, photomagnets for various subjects, even foreigner states).
